DEARBORN, MICHIGAN – Act I of Boston, The Skating Club of Boston’s Senior Theatre On Ice Team claimed the championship title winning the gold medal at the 2014 U.S. National Theatre On Ice Championships June 25 – 28, 2014 in Dearborn, Michigan. Lead by Artistic Director and Head Coach, Timothy LeBlanc, assisted by Choreographer, Kate McSwain, the two were humbled with the success of the team this past season after finishing in fourth place at last year’s nationals, just the year after placing second earning Act I a spot on the U.S. Theatre On Ice Team for Nations Cup in Logroño, Spain. “The team has worked so hard this season, we have seen skaters improve on all aspects of their skating from presentation to performance, we are elated with the success of the team and so proud of each and every one of our skaters”, said LeBlanc. Now the team will go into their off season and return next September for open casting where they will assign spots on the team for the 2014-2015 season.
